How to Send Secure Messages

Passpack lets you to send 100% private messages. This is useful when communicating important, yet private, information with people you trust. To send a new message, go to the Messages tab.

To send a message, you must first activate Passpack's Secure Sharing then invite someone to you People tab. 

 

(1) Choose the name of the person from the dropdown list that you would like to send a message to. Only people listed under your People tab will be available.

(2) Write your message (maximum 500 characters).

(3) Press the Send button when you are finished. You will be asked to confirm, press OK and your message will be immediately delivered to your friend's Passpack account, and an email notification will be sent to his email to let him know he has a new message. A copy of the sent message will also be added below to your message list

Reply to a Message

To reply to a message, locate the message you wish to reply to in your message list, and click the envelope icon to the right. Your friend's name will automatically be selected in the Send a message to the dropdown box. Proceed to send the message as usual.

Send a Message from the People Tab

You may also initiate a new message from the People tab. Locate the person you wish to send a message to in your people list, and click the envelope icon to the right. Passpack will jump to the Messages tab and the person's name will automatically be selected in the dropdown list (1). Proceed to send the message as usual.

How to Attach a Password Entry to a Message

You must do this from within the Entry Window of the password you want to attach. Instructions are here.
