If you registered with Passpack with your OpenID or other Third Party Login, then you may not have a standard Passpack login. Having a standard Passpack login gives you the freedom to choose which sign in method you wish to use, and when. Also, if you are not able to login to your Third Party Provider for some reason, having a standard Passpack login will also ensure that you do not get locked out of your account.

Additionally, some optional features require either the Passpack User ID and Password to be set. For example Disposable Logins, the Remember Me function and synchronization between the Passpack Desktop application and your online account.

How to Set a Standard Passpack User ID

From within your Passpack account, go to Account > Set a User ID. You will be asked to insert your Packing Key for security, and then to choose a User ID. A confirmation message will tell you if the process was a success.

How to Set a Standard Passpack Password

From within your Passpack account, go to Account >  Set a Password. This option will only be clickable if you have first set a User ID (see above). You will be asked to insert your Packing Key for security, and then to choose a Password. You will be asked to type it in twice to make sure you are typing it properly. The quality rating bar will help you make sure your Password is strong. A confirmation message will tell you if the process was a success.
